Swonder Ice Arena currently 3 different leagues/divisions. All leagues are full slat shot and NON CHECK.

DIVISION DESCRIPTIONS

Gold: These teams are comprised primarily of players with advanced to elite hockey skills. Several players may have played at the highest levels of organized hockey including professional (all levels and Europe), NCAA Division I and III collegiate and junior in the US or Canada. Players may also have non-varsity collegiate (ACHA), prep or varsity high school and midget major playing experience.

Silver: These teams are comprised primarily of players with intermediate to advanced hockey skills. A few of these players may have played at the highest levels of organized hockey (see gold-open classifications), but are several years removed from those levels. Most players have experience at the non-varsity collegiate (ACHA), prep or varsity high school, junior B or lower and all levels of midget levels.

Intermediate: These teams are comprised of players with intermediate hockey skills. Several players may have experience at the lower ACHA levels, prep or varsity high school, or lower midget levels. Some players may also have limited organized youth playing experience, but have several years of playing experience as a recreational adult player. These teams would be comparable to a traditional high "C" low "B" level adult house recreational team. All players must be 21 years or older by the start date of the tournament.

Bronze: These teams are comprised primarily of players with novice to intermediate hockey skills. A few of these players may have high school playing experience, but are several years removed from those levels. Most players have some youth organized playing experience up to midget house. Some may also have little or no youth playing experience, but several years as an adult player in organized leagues. These teams would be comparable to traditional high "D" or "C" level adult house recreational teams.

Novice: These teams are comprised completely of players with novice hockey skills. Some players may have some youth playing experience up to the Pee Wee house level, but are several years removed from these levels. Most players would have taken the game up as an adult (18 or older) with some having several years of adult Recreational playing experience. These teams would be comparable to a traditional "D" or lower house recreational team.
