I see there is a $110.00 deposit, but what is the total cost?
Swonder's birthday party package is $110.00. This $110.00 includes your private party room, admission and skate rental for the first 10 skaters. If your party has more than the ten skaters, you will pay an additional $7.00 per additional skater. (Admission= $4.00, Skate Rental= $3.00)
What dates and time are available for a birthday party?
All birthday parties are booked during our public sessions. For information on our public session schedule, please go to the public skating page under the SKATING tab.
*Please note that skate aides are not available to rent on Friday public sessions.
Can I bring in my own food?
Beginning October 1st, 2022 no outside food will be allowed in the party rooms. All food will need to be purchased through the concessionaire. You may still bring in cake, cupcakes, juice & water. I would prefer a party that is not during the public session. Is that possible?
Yes! Private parties are possible, however availability is limited. Private party rental ranges from $170.00 to $220.00 per hour for ice, $25.00 to $40.00 per hour for the party room, and $3.00 per person for rental skates.
How long do we have our party room for?
Each party will have their party room for the entire time of the public session. Swonder does allow their parties to come in about 60 minutes before the party begins to set up the party room.
What kind of decorations can I bring?
You may bring any decorations you would like, with the exception of confetti and glitter.
Does Swonder provide invitations, plates, napkins, plasticware, linen, etc.?
Parties held at Swonder Ice Arena are responsible for sending out their own invitations, and bringing everything they need for their party
Can I have ice skating lessons during the party?
Ice skating lessons can be arranged for your party at an additional cost. If you are interested in having lessons during your party please contact GEFSC Learn to Skate at 812-479-7401 or learntoskate@gefsc.com.
