 2023 Things To Remember
  • Please make sure camper has had a complete breakfast before arriving!

  • Camp Swonder will provide a snack and drink every day!

     *refer to registration forms for children with food allergies*

  • Arrive at camp wearing tall socks & warm clothes for ice skating!

  • Write camper's name on ALL belongings including sunscreen & bug spray!

  • Bring the following belongings:

    • Bag for Belongings

    • Bug Spray

    • Sunscreen

    • Ice Skates (Camp Swonder will provide ice skates for those who need them)

    • Comfortable Clothes And Running Shoes That Are Good For Playing In

Camp Swonder is an active camp, therefore we ask that camper’s please leave 

ALL electronics at home. Swonder is NOT responsible for any lost, stolen, or

damaged property.

2023 Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I hold my camper's spot?

To hold a camper's spot, an $80.00 NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE 

payment must be paid at the time of registration for each week you are registering for.

Each session is $80.00 PER WEEK.

How old do you have to be?

Camp Swonder is geared towards and limited to campers ages 6 to 12 years old. At the time of the session start date, all registered campers must be at least 6 years and no more than 12 years old.

Is there a discount for multiple campers?

There will be no sibling or employee discounts for Camp Swonder 2023.

What makes Camp Swonder Special?

Campers will receive the basics on learning to ice skate, instructional figure skating lessons, instructional hockey lessons (equipment provided), and will get to interact with guest speakers -

Evansville Fire Department, Humane Society, Girl Scouts, Evansville Otters, Thunderbolts, etc.

ALL AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!

Camper safety and group ratio?

Each camp counselor will receive CPR & AED training and provide a fun and positive atmosphere for the campers. There will be no more than 12 campers per camp counselor.

What do campers do at Camp Swonder?

Activities include but are not limited to: Ice Skating, Swimming, Games,

Nature Walks, Arts & Crafts, Guest Speakers & MORE!

Who is GEFSC, EYHA & Tri-State Hockey Academy?

Greater Evansville Figure Skating Club, Evansville Youth Hockey & Tri State Hockey Academy are all user groups within our facility that are donating their time and have agreed to offer lessons to the campers during their organization's assigned weeks.
