It's Hot Don!
This summer Swonder Ice Arena is providing relief from the heat! During our daytime public skating sessions on Monday's, Tuesday's, and Thursday's when the heat index is over 100 degrees you can come skate for just $1 including skate rental! Come experience the best air conditioning in the city without breaking the bank!

The tenacious and intimidating Demolition City Roller Derby Girls return for their home competitions at Swonder Ice Arena!

Roller Hockey at Swonder!
Roller Hockey is returning to Swonder Ice Arena!
Beginning Wednesday June 10th through August 13th
Wednesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm
13 years old and younger
Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:30pm
14 years old through High school senior
Thursdays 7pm-8pm
18 years and older
Required Equipment:
Helmet, Gloves, Stick, Roller Blades OR Close toed shoes
Street hockey pucks and balls permitted. No pucks that contain metal (such as "Green biscuits")

Bring Dad to the ice arena this Fathers' Day!
This Father's day Dad's skate for free on Stick Time and Public Skating!
On Sunday June 21 Dad's are celebrated at Swonder Ice Arena. Pass the puck on a stick time or take a few laps at our public skating. Either way give Dad that quality time and let him know how much he's appreciated!
Happy 250th Birthday America!
America is turning 250 years old!
In celebration of the milestone you can skate at Swonder Ice Arena Friday July 3rd or Sunday July 5th for just $2.50! This include our public skating, freestyle, and stick time sessions and does include skate rental!
Remember we will be closed on Saturday July 4th so our staff can celebrate with their loved ones!
Summer Skate Camp
The Greater Evansville Figure Skating Club is hosting a summer skate camp this July 6th-10th! Participants can learn how to skate or improve their existing skills with experienced coaches alongside their peers! Registration is open now on www.gefsc.com
On the first Sunday of each Month May-August Swonder Ice Arena is proud to offer our Sensory Skate.
This session is designed for individuals on the autistic spectrum or with other special needs and includes ice time and an activity zone.
Learn to Skate
Open to all skaters of all ages the Greater Evansville Figure Skating Club hosts learn to skate classes for all people interested in learning how to ice skate and practice basic to intermediate skills. Click the image below for detailed information and to register!

Our arena offers birthday party packages year round! Featuring admission and skate rental for 10 skaters, your own private party room, and access to skate aides in advance!
